Andrew’s Amazing Overnight Oats

When my husband Andrew and I first got married, we were both still in college and working full time. This meant there was little to no time on most days to prepare food to eat. I began a quest to find as many healthy and quick recipes that I could that did not involve ordering fast food. There are only so many you can eat protein bars for breakfast. Coffee does not count as breakfast either, haha. For the overnight oats, recommend making at least six hours before consuming. These are only four ingredients!

Ingredients needed:

1 Cup of Quick Oats

1 Cup of Unsweetened Almond Milk

4 Tablespoons of Sugar Free Maple Syrup

1 Scoop of protein powder. This one is my favorite: Birthday Cake Protein

First off, bring out a medium-sized plastic container that you will put the completed oats in the fridge to sit in. The container needs a lid. Then, add the oats to the container. Next, add the protein powder and almond milk. Finally, add the syrup to the mix which the amount can be adjusted depending on taste preferences. Mix it together well, close the container, and put it in the fridge for 6-24 hours. Optional to add berries when you get ready to eat it for extra flavor. My favorite is adding strawberries. Then enjoy!
